Plain-language terms that apply when you create an account or submit a film to the festival.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
You are responsible for the details you provide when creating an account and for keeping your login secure. Give us accurate information so we can reach you about your submission.
You confirm the film you submit is your own work, that you have permission from anyone identifiable in it, and that it complies with the Rules page. Do not submit content that is defamatory, unlawful, or infringes anyone's rights.
You keep the copyright of your film. You grant the Inspiring Nigeria Micro Film Festival a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, screen, subtitle, excerpt, and publish your film for non-commercial festival, advocacy, and educational purposes, crediting you as the filmmaker.
We may remove entries that breach the Rules or these Terms, and disqualify accounts that submit fabricated or plagiarised work. Our decision is final.
We provide this platform "as is". We are not liable for indirect losses caused by using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
